  • Protected the Mudgeeraba Village heritage character in architecture and signage

  • Secured the purchase of the land adjacent Firth Park for future sporting needs 

  • Delivered a refurbished and expanded Community Centre at Firth Park in Mudgeeraba

  • Upgraded the Cuddihy Park stage

  • New tenancy agreements for sporting groups at Firth Park: Redbacks, Redsox and HDNA

  • Grown and supported the Mudgeeraba Parkrun

  • Active Travel program at Mudgeeraba State School, Mudgeeraba Creek State School and Clover Hill State School, reducing traffic congestion and improving our kids health

  • Delivered Summertime Sessions in the Village & “Something to Talk About”, Bleach in the Hinterland, d’Arcy Doyles, Mudgeeraba Street Party

  • Improved Elsie Laver Park’s war memorial areas

  • Improved pathways and crossings around our local schools, including Hardy’s Rd, Mission Drive, Tallai Rd, Robert St and Swanton Drive.

  • New Nature Play Playground in Gilston; Peter Mills Park - our LARGEST ever locally funded playground project.

  • New pathway and bridge delivered along Gilston Rd between the Hall and Melody Park Aged Care

  • New Nature Play playground and concrete courts for Lower Beechmont, led by community

  • New Community Centre for Lower Beechmont - designed and funded with construction to commence April 2024

  • New neighbourhood centre with coffee shops, mini-mart, and minor medical delivered for Gilston

  • Over 100 new homes for residents delivered in Gilston

  • Supported “Tame the Taipan” international sports event in Gilston

  • Introduced a new combined club home in Gilston for Gold coast MG Car Club, Gold Coast Sport Dog Association and Bonogin Valley Bulls Cricket Club, at Frank Chaston Oval

  • Championed the Worongary State School’s award-winning Active School Travel program, reducing congestion around roads surrounding the school.

  • New pathways along Old Coach Road to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety

  • Upgraded playground at Riverlily St (Glossy Black Reserve)

  • Partnered with Hillcrest and Kings to plan new carparks and reduce traffic congestion around schools

  • Planned and designed new improvement to the Reedy Creek Dog Park on Observatory Drive

  • New traffic calming on Panorama Drive in Reedy Creek to slow vehicles and reduce hooning.

  • Championed the Old Coach Road and Bermuda St extension upgrade, connecting Old Burleigh Town to Old Coach and the central connecting state road to Tallebudgera Creek Rd.

  • Worked closely with Reedy Creek Neighbourhood Watch on their programs and initiatives.

  • Supported community sporting groups in Bonogin such as the Bonogin Valley Bulls Cricket Club

  • Significant road repair and reinforcement in Neranwood and Austinville

  • Supported the Bonogin Valley Rural Fire Brigade

  • Supported improvement to the Mt Nimmel Hall

  • Enhanced and supported rural fire brigade resources, including tanks and firebreaks

  • Preliminary design complete on new entry area to Austinville waterhole

  • Promoted and supported live music events at Mt Nimmel Hall, including Festival of Small Halls

  • Grew and promoted Boomerang Gravity Park for mountain biking

  • Introduced speed monitoring devices to Bonogin improving traffic safety

  • Delivered "Green Bin" availability to all kerbside bin service areas in hinterland

  • New improvements to the Springbrook Cenotaph area, including a brand new playground at Springbrook Centenary Park

  • Enabled and supported the Springbrook Disaster Management Plan

  • Supported and funded better communications for Springbrook through Amateur Radio Society

  • Hosted the Gold Coast Film Festival in Springbrook

  • Funded Movies under the Stars and Festival of Small Halls in Springbrook

  • Delivered a significant upgrade to Bochow Park, in Natural Bridge

  • Attended and supported hinterland pest management group

  • Continued to promote the Springbrook National Park as a tourism destination supporting the economy

  • New wildlife warning markings on local roads

  • Started planning for the Springbrook “Trail of Tranquility”

  • Guided and scrutinised the new tourism investment “Numinbah Escape” delivered by the experienced team from Treetop Challenge.
