#50Days50Ways - #29 - Upgrading our local dog parks

Each year we allocate a small amount of local area works to upgrade local dog parks, adjusting fencing, adding dog agility or benches & seating. Because our division (#9) is so broad and expansive, it can be hard to deliver upgrades to every park... in fact it's impossible with our limited budget.

Division 9 Dog Parks in Mudgeeraba and Reedy Creek

However, last year we allocated funds to deliver new Dog Agility equipment at the Observatory Dog Park on Barden Ridge Rd in #ReedyCreek (cnr Observatory Drive) and some new park benches for seating at Cobber Park in #Mudgeeraba. I've been informed construction will commence this month!

Next financial year we'll be looking at Hinterland Regional Park (Hardy's Park) and Pioneer Downs Park.

You can find out more about Council's dog parks here;

You can also contact our office for an electronic or a hard copy of our local "Off-leash Dog Areas in Division 9" brochure.

If you love your dog and want a Councillor who does his best to respond to queries about improvements at Off-Leash Dog Areas, I reckon you'll need to #Vote1Tozer in March 2024. I'd love to keep serving our local area and making it the best place live, work and play.
